Dan Snyder started playing music in 1959, mostly folk music until Bob Dylan strapped on a Fender Stratocaster in 1966. Then he began to play in bands around West Virginia where, in 1972, he was awarded a first place medal and fifty dollars for winning the “Best Songwriter in WVa."
Dan moved to Va. Beach and played there in bars and hotels for five years. He then moved to Wisconsin and started a band called “Bandan’l.” They toured the central states for about three years until Dan moved back to West Virginia and got married. more . . .
